Used to build the large textile mills that spawned the Industrial Revolution, Antique Southern Heart Pine timbers have stood the test of time, supporting massive loads. Their tight grain strength and intrinsic beauty have made them the timber of choice for building since the middle part of the 19th century. As many of these now abandoned mills are being torn down, special care is given to preserve these massive timbers for other use.
They're now being utilized in special building projects across the country, where they find a second life as ceiling beams, timber trusses or as the skeleton of beatiful reclaimed timber frame structures. If you're interested in using Antique Southern Heart Pine timbers on an upcoming project, please feel free to contact us to discuss the various options available.
