The Cambridge Floor Collection features carefully selected Old Growth American Hardwoods that have been reclaimed primarily from 19th and early 20th Century agricultural and industrial buildings. The unparalleled tight grain of this carefully selected antique lumber makes for an exceptionally stable floor. The original time worn patina adds a unique touch and natural look to any project. For a more modern look, the 'Fresh Antique' treatment is a wonderful combination of old growth lumber, with clean lines.
The Western Lodge Floor Collection was designed as an option for architects seeking a rugged, authentic looking wide plankfloor, that is carefully and precisely milled. Most often specified in ski homes, mountain lodges and ranch residences. The Lodge Collection floors are crafted from vintage old growth softwoods such as Douglas Fir, Eastern Pine or Hemlock and features a richly colored patina, scattered nailholes, as well as the sawmark traces from the original, oftentimes, water powered sawmill.
The American Collection was designed for homeowners and institutions who desired the heirloom quality, look and feel of a new wide plank floor but didn't want to pay the oftentimes extravagant prices of popular wide plank flooring companies. By selectively sourcing hardwoods from various loggers and sawmills around the country we're able to offer high quality wide plank floors and pass down savings as well. Our most popular N. American species include White and Red Oak, Black Walnut, Hickory, Ash, as well as the ever popular and historically accurate, Colonial Eastern White Pine.
For the discerning architect, craftsman and homeowner, we've created the Old Europe Collection.
